FASfacts is a Non Profit organisation which aims to educate the general public on the devastating effects of alcohol consumption during pregnancy on the unborn baby, as well as the influence that people with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome have on each individual in particular, and the broader community in general. FASfacts was founded in 2002 and through their own resources and generous contributions from their benefactors they have made a substantial difference to raise awareness towards FAS (Fetal Alcohol Syndrome) and FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders) within the communities they serve.
We have a vision of children being born without Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.
FASfacts implements programmes and campaigns to decrease the prevalence of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.
FASfacts make use of Experiential Learning to convey the FAS message in local communities:
